He built custom gaming computers and spent years enjoying first-person shooters, but it wasn't until he visited a free-roam VR arena in Texas with his son that the idea for AMS was born. He recalls, "I've always loved gaming, but seeing my son and I enjoy that free-roam experience in Texas sparked a desire to bring that excitement back home."
His diverse background includes 40 years in the HVAC industry, owning a bar and restaurant in the Caribbean, and running a successful staffing company, providing him with the skills to realize AMS Entertainment. However, AMS is a family business. His wife, Charlene, who holds a master's in sales and marketing, contributes her expertise to business strategy and sales, and she also serves as a sales trainer. Rounding out the team is their son, Steven, who manages AMS Entertainment's digital marketing, ensuring the center effectively reaches its audience through strategic online campaigns. Together, the DeCesare family forms a powerhouse team, leveraging their skills to drive AMS forward.
While AMS Entertainment is currently focused on launching its Kingston, New Hampshire location, the future looks bright. DeCesare envisions expanding to other locations in the coming years, with plans to open a second center once the first venue is up and running successfully. He notes, "We're not just focused on our first location; we see AMS as a brand that can thrive across multiple communities, enriching family experiences everywhere." The timeline for the Kingston Center's launch is projected to be within six to eight months after securing the building, with profitability expected to follow shortly thereafter.
