Luxury fashion house Hermès has announced that it will reward its staff all over the world with a $4,700 bonus. Hermès has more than 25,000 employees worldwide.

Sales for Q4 2024 rose to $4.1 billion, while revenue for the whole year amounted to $15.9 billion.

"True to its commitment as a responsible employer and its willingness to share the fruits of growth with all those who contribute to it daily, Hermès will be giving out a bonus of €4,500 to all its employees worldwide at the beginning of the year in respect of 2024," the company said in its financial report for 2024, according to Business Insider.

Hermès Executive Chairman Axel Dumas also made it a point to thank employees in a statement.

"In 2024, in a more uncertain economic and geopolitical context, the solid performance of the results attests to the strength of the Hermès model and the agility of the house's teams, whom I thank warmly," he said.

This is not the first time that the luxury fashion house rewarded its employees with bonuses. A bonus amounting to approximately $1,300 was given to employees in 2020, before the amount skyrocketed to a little over $3,000 the next year.

The amount then ballooned to $4,000 for 2022 and 2023.

Founded in 1837 by Thierry Hermès, Hermès has grown into one of the top players in luxury goods, particularly ready-to-wear items, leather goods, jewelry, silk goods, and more.
