Mobile advertisement technology specialist Kinetic Social announced Thursday that Michelle Schiano was appointed as the new executive vice president of marketing.
Prior to her stint in Kinetic Social, Schiano worked with out-of-home media company Eye Corp as vice president of marketing where she played a key role in the launching of the largest mobile-enabled advertisement network for shopping malls. Schiano also worked at Nielsen Business Media and Advertising Age where she helped double marketing profits and build up the conferences division.
"We've kept a relatively low-profile over the past year as we focused on our fundraising and product and business development initiatives," remarked Kinetic Social Chief Executive Officer Don Mathis. "But now that we have our initial round of funding in place, it is an opportune time to bring in a seasoned marketing professional to further develop our distinct marketplace identity.
