
Nestlé USA is recalling several Lean Cuisine and Stouffer's frozen meals after consumers reported finding wood-like material in their food.
The recall affects products sold nationwide, with one reported choking incident linked to the contamination, according to a notice posted by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
According to CBS News, the recall includes specific batches of Lean Cuisine Butternut Squash Ravioli, Lean Cuisine Spinach Artichoke Ravioli, Lean Cuisine Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry, and Stouffer's Party Size Chicken Lasagna.
The affected meals were produced between September 2024 and March 2025 and sold at major retailers, including Walmart and Kroger.

Nestlé USA advises customers not to consume the recalled meals. Instead, they should return them to the store where they were purchased for a replacement or refund.
"The quality, safety, and integrity of our products remain our number one priority," the company stated.
"We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this action represents to both our consumers and retail customers."
