Restaurant group Rosa Mexicano named Tom Dillon as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Dillon will replace Howard Greenstone when he takes on his new role beginning on August 19. Greenstone will still remain with the company as part of its board of directors. He was integral for launching the Mexican restaurant internationally. Rosa Mexicano is backed by New York-based private equity firm Goode Partners.

Tom Dillon joined Rosa Mexicano from Patina Restaurant Group where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer. He also took on the same roles at Richard Sandoval Restaurants. While at Sandoval, he was able to expand the business to thirty units from its existing five. In his new role at Rosa Mexicano, Dillon would see to it that the development strategy of the group would be carried out. He would also continue to expand the brand domestically and internationally.

Board of Directors Chairman Joe Ferreira said he would be counting on Dillon's extensive experience to guide Rosa Mexicano. "Tom has the ideal blend of leadership, experience and vision to guide Rosa Mexicano into an exciting new chapter of growth," he said.
