An infrastructure venture hedge fund focused on early stage Big Data developments had recently announced that it had appointed Dr. Todd Papaioannou is its Entrepreneur-in-Residence or EIR. He would be working with the investment team in the identification and exploration of new opportunities in analytics and large data space.
He said, "DCVC will be a great platform to work with cutting edge companies in the Big Data space, as they invest in the best of the best in this market."
Previously, Dr. Papaioannou was Chief Cloud Architect for Yahoo. He also helped in the development and spinoff of Hortonworks.
