Infosys had appointed three additional executives into its key decision-making group. The Bangalore-based company said it added Ranganath D Mavinakere, Binod Hampapur Rangadore and Nithyanandan Radhakrishnan as members of the Infosys executive council.
The newly appointed members of the council would be given USD150000 Executive Council allowance per annum pro-rata according to statement filed on the Bombay Stock Exchange. This would be given for as long as they held a seat in the company's council.
Mavinakere and Rangdore would drive the company's cost optimization and global delivery model initiatives from the office of the Infosys chairman. The two would report to NR Narayana Murthy who was recalled as executive chairman last June.
The new executives would play the role in implementing the turnaround strategy formulated by Murthy. NR Narayana Murthy cofounded Infosys. He was recalled to office after the company experienced two years of underperformance in the industry. Infosys is the second biggest software services exporter in India.
