AAMP of America, Inc. is a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity. The former had announced today the acquisition of INTRAPHEX.

INTRAPHEX operates as a manufacturer of aftermarket navigation, phone integration and rearview mirror display solutions. The acquisition of INTRAPHEX was from Tatmar LLC without disclosing financial details.

The acquisition would include all INTRAPHEX assets and intellectual properties. It would also include its operations and distribution facility in Grand Blanc Michigan. The acquisition would allow AAMP of America to boost its presence in the mobile electronics industry specifically in the growing OEM integration category.

Ron Freeman, President and CEO of AAMP of America said, "I am excited to be bringing INTRAPHEX into the AAMP of America family. INTRAPHEX is a young technology company with a lot of energy and innovative ideas. This will allow us to expand the number of OEM integration products we offer to our customers around the world, as well as acquire assets located in close proximity to the headquarters and research facilities of the major US automakers. Additionally, INTRAPHEX will benefit from additional resources that will position it for greater growth and profitability."
