The three day Renewable Energy India Expo 2013 attracted a lot of investors to the renewable energy market of the country. This was after more than 100,000 visitors came and participated in the event. The summit was held at the India Expo Centre & Mart which also closed today.
The highlight of the show was the participation by exhibitors from more than 27 different countries. The said exhibitors later reaffirmed their statement of seeing Indian renewable energy market as an attractive investment destination.
According to Joji George, Managing Director for UBM India said, "REI 2013 Expo witnessed the creme-de-la-creme as far as industry participation is concerned. Powerful international participation by trade delegations like JETRO and NEDO from Japan was another highlight wherein they also unveiled industry reports, apart from workshops conducted by Asian Development Bank, BASF, Sterling & Wilson and KPMG."
Canada, China, Germany, Sweden and Malaysia were among a few countries represented in the event. Leading companies like Yingli, LTi, Jinki, EI Dupont, Sun Edision and Borg Energy among others were also present.
