Eithad Airways recently unveiled its new headquarters in Berlin, enhancing the Gulf aircarrier's presence in Germany as well as the whole of Europe. This also fortified its strategic alliance with airberlin.
The new European headquarters is located in the heart of Potsdamer Platz, with separate offices for both the European and German sales and marketing teams for Etihad Airways. Other offices include the Etihad Airways-airberlin counters for reservatons and ticketing services.
The office was ceremonially opened by no less than Etihad Airways President and CEO James Hogan. He said, "Germany remains a critically important part of Etihad Airways' growing passenger and cargo network and while much of Europe continues to face challenges linked to the prevailing Euro crisis, the German inbound and outbound travel is performing well for us."
The Etihad CEO added, "It makes sound business sense to be based in Berlin and close to our strategic equity partner."
