S. Scott Parel was introduced as the newest member of Sidley Austin LLP. He will be joining the Dallas office as its new partner of Sidley's global Private Equity and M&A practices. He would be rejoining old colleagues from Weil Gotshal and Manges.

Parel's broad corporate and transactional experience with his focus on his practice on complex corporate and transactional matters through his representations with portfolio companies with leveraged acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings and other transactions.
