Just a few months after Lululemon faced complaints about the sheerness of its yoga pants, the clothing company is again facing a new wave of complaints regarding the quality of its products.
The new set of complaints centered on the Groove and Wunder Under pants. In a response to questions from different news organizations, Lululemon spokeswoman Alecia Pulman said in an email that the piling problem on Groove pants was experienced by "a very small number of guests" and that it is not widespread. She also did not mention Wunder Under in her email.
Pulman encouraged customers who have problems with the quality of their yoga pants to go to their local store or contact Lululemon's customer hotline so that the company can deal with it
Lululemon has been known for its high-end sports and yoga clothing and has regularly attained a quarterly growth of over 20 percent. However, it was hit by a huge setback when it was forced to recall at least $57 million worth of overly sheer yoga pants.
Shares dropped 1.8 percent on Friday and closed at $67.86 on Nasdaq.
