Huron Capital Partners said its portfolio company, Ronnoco Coffee recently purchased Henderson Coffee Corporation. No financial details about the deal were provided. Ronnoco Coffee makes and distributes premium coffee and teas under the Ronnoco, Seattle Roast, Wild Horse Creek and Camellia brands. Henderson Coffee Corporation makes coffee, tea and related products and equipment. Its customers included casinos, restaurants and convenience stores in Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas.
Huron Capital Partners started to invest in Ronnoco Coffee in July last year. The acquisition of Henderson Coffee would be the second in the Ronnoco platform. Earlier in 2013, the company bought International Blends.
Huron Capital Partner John Higgins said about the latest purchase, "With this second add-on acquisition in 2013, Ronnoco continues to grow its geographic reach and expand its product lines. We are excited about working with the Ronnoco team to pursue additional growth initiatives."
Huron Capital seeks investment opportunities in lower middle market companies. It has raised more than USD 1.1 billion in capital through its four private equity funds since it was established in 1999.
