Sanitec Corporation on Wednesday announced that it would file for an initial public offering and apply to get listed on the NASDAQ OMX Stockholm. Sanitec is a bathroom ceramics and fixtures company based in Helsinki, Finland. It is owned by the Swedish private equity firm EQT.
According to Reuters, Stockholm-based Nordea Bank AB and Swiss UBS Investment Bank will be acting as joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners in the offering. Private equity firm M.H. Carnegie & Co. will also be acting as joint bookruner and Swedish bank Handelsbanken as co-lead manager.
Sanitec had net sales of EUR752.8 million in 2012, said Reuters. In a recent statement, the company said its net sales for the third quarter of this year amounted to EUR175.4 million. Its operating profit for the same quarter increased to EUR20.5 million.
The company is currently operating in 18 production plants across Europe and provides global sales and support functions in 19 countries.
Details on the public offering have yet to be disclosed.
