Abraham Shafi, founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of getTalent said his firm was acquired by job site Dice. This was according to a report published by TechCrunch.
getTalent is a recruiting startup that allows its customers (including Walmart, Box, and MTV) to add a plug-in to their job pages. The said plug-in allows visitors to sign up for targeted content and job listings. The company also allows recruiters to scan job applications through the website and sign people up at job fairs, the report explained.
According to Shafi, getTalent will continue to function as a standalone product. It will also be an additional service offering to Dice clients. Meanwhile, Shafi will become the product head at Dice. In addition, getTalent's entire five-person team is transferring to Dice, the report said.
The financial terms of the acquisition deal were undisclosed, the report added.
Dice sent TechCrunch the following statement from President Shravan Goli, "We acquired the getTalent product in October. We are pleased to have the team behind getTalent join our Dice.com development team."
