Virginia-based private equity firm Militello Capital has invested an undisclosed amount in SalesWarp, an enterprise resource planning or ERP for eCommerce Management Software based in Baltimore, Maryland. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

SalesWarp enables merchants to bring together all their eCommerce operations into a single complete system. Retailers can take care of all customer, order and product information even as it simplifies inventory tracking and completion of operations in all channels through SalesWarp's user-friendly interface and robust integration tools. As a result, retailers are able to enhance their quality, bring down operating costs and improve revenue. In a statement about the investment, Militello Capital said SalesWarp is the most comprehensive and scalable eCommerce technology available.

SalesWarp CEO and Founder David Potts is thrilled that Militello Capital selected his company to form part of the private equity investment manager's portfolio. He added that the knowledge, relationships and strategic through leadership of Militello Capital will be greatly valuable to them in their continued growth.

Meanwhile, Militello Capital Co-Founder and COO Matt Brady said in the statement, "SalesWarp provides merchants of all sizes a competitive advantage. With its expansive list of features, functionality and commercial source code technology, the SalesWarp eCommerce Management Software helps emerging retailers compete with larger, more established competitors."

SalesWarp offers both Enterprise and cloud solutions. It is currently integrated with Volusion, Magento, DemandWare, osCommerce, Amazon and eBay. It was in 2009 that CEO Potts came up with the Omnichannel eCommerce Management System that gives retailers the opportunity to manage all their digital transactions from one system, the statement said.

Militello Capital offers two unique alternative investment strategies: Deep value commercial real estate and emerging technology venture capital. Militello Capital believes that investing is both about creating opportunity and increasing wealth and that their company was "founded on the principle that true wealth is created in private investments."
