Ann Arbor, Michigan-based Servant Systems Inc said it had finished an iPad-based application called ZWare Mobile meant for the mobile technicians of the franchisees of The Dwyer Group. The announcement was made by Servant Systems Inc President Don DeSmith in a press release.
The ZWare Mobile application was incorporated by Servant Systems into the ZWare franchisee management system of Dwyer. The system serves to support the sending out of mobile technicians and other franchisee operations for brands like Mr. Rooter, Mr. Electric, Mr. Appliance and Aire Serv. The app gives customers an onsite quote and records materials utilized and the time logged by the technician. The app also provides for payment processing at the customer site. "Servant Systems did the development work on the server-side of the application and took over the iPad application development and support, to bring it to completion and release," the statement said.
Servant Systems has been a member of the member of the Microsoft Partner Network for about 22 years. It provides worldwide franchise systems and multi-unit firms with software solutions. It focuses on coming up with custom applications geared towards enhancing the efficiency, performance and profitability of these companies. It is part of the International Franchise Association, the statement said.
Based in Waco, Texas, the Dwyer Group Inc is a holding firm of seven franchise businesses that sell or support a different franchise under the Aire Serv, Glass Doctor, The Grounds Guys, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Electric, Mr. Rooter (known as Drain Doctor in the UK and Portugal) and Rainbow International brands which provide residential and commercial services to their clients.The Dwyer Group is one of the firms in the portfolio of New York-based private equity firm TZP Group Llc. TPZ Group concentrates on making control investments in consumer services firms and businesses with enterprise values reaching up to $200 million, the statement said.
