Good Technology announced on Sunday at the Mobile World Congress in Bacelona that it has bought private enterprise mobility management software firm Boxtone, according to ZD Net. The financial terms of the acquisition deal were not disclosed in reported ZD Net.
Good also launched Good Pro, its new cloud-based platform which will be available by March on Android. It will also be available for Apple's iOS on April, the report detailed.
The addition of Boxton could expand Good's market and widen its client base by adding 130 customers. In addition to the acquisition, Good also said it has secured distribution contracts with Tech Data and TELUS.
The Good Pro cloud platform lets individuals, and small and large enterprises manage mobile devises using an app. The said platform allows users to integrate email, contacts, Microsoft Exchange, and calendar and connects them with file-sharing tools, ZD Net reported.
