Scandal returns after long hiatus with a new episode

By

TV series Scandal has returned after a long break. The first episode after the long hiatus began with all of its characters struggling to keep their secrets unknown. The episode roam around the motto, keep your friends close but your enemies closer.

Sally Langston went ahead with her plans to run for presidency and not letting anything like murder gets in her way. Langston's announcement drove Fitz's team to scramble and the president to burst in drunken anger. The president's tantrum did not last for too long after he announced that he would like to make an appointment to see the governor of California, Andrew Nicholls. He also made the announcement that Nicholls would be his new running mate.

Meanwhile, Liv went out to see her father and learned that he was not in charge of B613 anymore. In a memorable scene of the series, Rowan explained to his daughter that she is "skipping around in a field full of bombs and mistaking them for daisies."

Scandal airs on Thursday nights on ABC.
