Dancing with the Stars announces final casting for this season, includes Olympic winners

Meryl Davis and Charlie White, the Olympian winners from the Winter Games in Sochi last month, are now part of the popular TV show Dancing with the Stars. The ice dancing gold medalists from the Olympics has been announced to be the final cast of the dance show. Davis and White would not be a pair in the show. Instead they would be paired with other contestants.

This season's Dancing with the Stars has a total of 18 cast. The final lineup was announced last Tuesday on Good Morning America. According to the announcement, the casting of the reality dance showdown program would feature athletes, celebrities and former child TV personalities.

The cast for this season includes Karina Smirnoff paired with former NHL hockey player Sean Avery. Candace Cameron Bure from Full House would be paired with Mark Ballas. Meanwhile The Price is Right's Drew Carey would be paired with Cheryl Burke and Tony Dovolani is teamed p with NeNe Leakes.

On the other hand, Meryl Davis, the Olympic gold medalist for ice dancing, would be Maksim Chmerkovskiy's partner while James Maslow of Big Time Rush dances with Peta Murgatroyd. Val Chmerkovskiy pairs with Danica McKellar while Diana Nyad and Henry Byalikov dances together.

The list is continues with Amy Purdy and Derek Hough. Witney Carson and Cody Simpson pairs up while Sharna Burgess would dance with Olympic gold medalist for ice dancing, Charlie White. Emma Slater partners Star Wars' Billy Dee Williams.
