In the summer Nemanja Vidic, Manchester United's captain, would join Inter Milan.
The Series A giants did not reveal the term of the contract. However, they confirmed that Vidic would join the team and that a contract has already been inked. Last month, Vidic said that he had intentions to end his contract with United.
In 2006, Vidic joined the club and has helped United bag five Premier League titles. The 32 year old central defender also made more than 200 appearances, reported BBC. Inter president Erick Thohir posted on the club's official website, "Vidic is a world-class player. I'm extremely happy to have completed this deal to bring Nemanja to Milan. He's one of the world's best defenders and his qualities, international pedigree and charisma will be an asset to the team and help bring through our younger players. He will bring added value to the club and is another piece of the great Inter side we are building."
According to David Moyes, United's manager, the decision for Vidic's transfer was mutual.
