Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 went missing today, 239 passengers on board

Early Saturday, Malaysia Airlines flew 239 people from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. However, the said aircraft went missing two hours after it departed Kuala Lumpur. In addition, the airline had sent a notice of a sign it feared the most, crash landing. This was according to a report from GoogleNews.

Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 went missing 1840 GMT Friday or at 2:40 am local time. This was only after two hours it had left the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The said aircraft was supposed to reach Beijing at 6:30 am local time. The Boeing 777-200 flight carried 13 different nationalities, two infants and 227 passengers. A total of 12 crew members were also included in the flight.

In a statement, Malaysia Airlines Group Chief Executive Officer Ahmad Jauhari Yahya said "We deeply regret that we have lost all contacts with flight MH370 which departed Kuala Lumpur at 12.41 am earlier this morning bound for Beijing.”

The management of the Malaysian flag carrier also said that they are working with authorities to locate the missing aircraft.
