US President Barack Obama debut on a talk show aired online on Tuesday. Obama appeared on comedian Zach Galifianakis’ talk show, Between Two Ferns, reported The Huffington Post.
According to White House representatives who told New York Times, the appearance of the US president on the show was to encourage the youth to think about and enroll in Obamacare. The president also urged young people to enroll under the healthcare program through healthcare.gov, reported The Huffington Post.
During the talk show, Obama even cracked some jokes. He told Galifianakis that running for president on a third time would be comparable to doing a third Hangover, the movie which the comedian did last 2013. Obama cracked, "Didn't really work out very well, did it?"
Obamacare was promoted by the president when he said, "I think it's fair to say that I wouldn't be with you here today if I didn't have something to plug."
