Hashtag #yakult has been trending on Twitter today. This was after news broke in from Singapore that a couple of teenagers were caught breaking in their school canteen and stealing SGD600 and five bottles of Yakult. The three teenagers between 18 and 19 years old were charged of housebreaking.
The teenagers who were charged with housebreaking were identified to be Muhammad Danial Soffian, Muhammad Nazrul Mohamed Khairi and Muhammad Herwan Huzaini. The three allegedly broke into the canteen of Yusof Ishak Secondary Street located at Bukit Batok Street 25, Singapore. The three were charged last Wednesday, reported ChannelNewsAsia.
According to reports, the three forcibly open the roller shutter of the school canteen and went inside to steal the cash and the Yakult drinks. The crime took place 3 a.m. last Tuesday, the report said. If convicted, each of the teenagers could face imprisonment of between two to fourteen years in jail.
