Listening to calming music is the third step to maintain a healthier lifestyle. Fourth, have a cup of tea instead of getting a cup coffee. Remember, coffee adds to anxiety and stress and it can also affect sleeping patterns. Teas, on the other hand, leave people refreshed and calm. The fifth habit on the list is chewing food slowly. Although a busy day can get a person in a hurry, chewing food properly is essential for the body’s digestive process. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator is on the sixth spot. This would help promote better cardio function and a good exercise.

The last on the list is a good body stretch. This does not have to be a body stretching routine done every time. This can be done to reduce the tightening of the shoulders and prevent occurrences of stiff neck and back aches. It also freshens the mind while keeping the joints mobilized.
