Motorola unveiled its latest Android Wear with the new Moto 360 watch. The company confirmed through its blog post last Tuesday that it would be joining hardware partners who are in line using the Google’s Android Wear.

Android Wear is a modified OS specially designed for wearables including watches. During the Mobile World Congress, the company had already disclosed that it would come up with a smartwatch.

The Moto 360 would be launched in the US starting this summer. According to CNET, Motorola only showed limited glimpse on the product but it appeared to be an actual timepiece. The company also said that it has used premium materials and a round face for the new smartwatch.

In the blog post, Motorola wrote "The wristwatch has been through several evolutions since it first became a popular fashion accessory more than 100 years ago. Our vision for Moto 360 was to celebrate that history as we re-imagined the wristwatch for the future."
