The St. Louis Blues would be facing an uphill battle despite the leading 101 points in the NHL. On Wednesday, a scheduled match against the Chicago Blackhawks would be a tough one for the Blues to maintain their season long point streak. The Blackhawks currently holds the Stanley Cup and owns the 39-15-14 record including a plus 52 goal differential.
If the Blues bags home the victory on Wednesday, they would have six divisional games before them including a match against the Stars and the Minnesota Wild. A road game in Chicago and a homeplay versus the Colorado Avalanche also includes the list. Undeniably, the Central Division is the best in the NHL season.
The strength of the St. Louis Blues is of no question and features to be more impressive. However, the highlights of the coming game against the Blackhawks for the Stanley Cup playoffs are seen to be nerve-wrecking.
