Boston-based event software solutions provider Attendware announced that it is rebranding as Attend.com on Monday. The change follows a shift in its focus to event analytics and online management, according to The Business Journals.
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Greg Skloot explained: "Events are making a comeback into the marketing mix as organizations lose face time with prospects and customers as more of the sales process moves online. Companies are looking for tools that keep their event operational costs down and have embedded analytics that are able to measure ROI and enable systematic testing and improvement for events. This is our vision and it is better captured by the Attend.com name."
According to Digital Journal, the startup has gained more than 300 customers from all over the world in the past three months alone. Its list of clients now includes BMW Melbourne, Sony Ericsson, University of Virginia, and General Motors' Chevrolet. In addition, Attend.com has also recently beefed up its management team with new members, the report said.
Attend.com has released a new online software solution designed to help universities organize and automate their event registration. The new product boasts of a simpler way to check-in and manage attendees, Digital Journal reported.
