Flappy Bird, the mobile game that got a lot of users addicted, announced reinstating the app. This was confirmed by the game creator Dong Nguyen. However, Nguyen did not disclose information when the game would be available again.
The report from BBC News cited a Flappy Bird fan sending a tweet to Nguyen asking when the game would be back in the app store. On his official Twitter account, Nguyen replied saying, "Yes. But not soon. I don't work by plan. I will release it when it is done."
The game was launched last May 2013 and can be downloaded for free. Despite its simple graphics, Flappy Bird is notoriously a difficult game. Players needed to tap the screen of their gadget and keep the bird afloat before it hits an obstacle and fall.
Flappy Bird was removed from the app store last February after its developer said that the game’s popularity has ruined his simple life. Nguyen’s game went viral and was reported to have earned him a hefty USD50000 a day from advertising.
