Fashion label debt, possible cause for L'Wren Scott's suicide

Last Monday, fashion designer L’Wren Scott was found dead in her New York City apartment. Her assistant reported the incident to the authorities who said they found her body hanged by a scarf. New York City authorities said that there was no foul play and that Scott’s death was of suicide.

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger was greatly shocked with the news of his long term girlfriend’s death. Jagger cancelled scheduled tour dates in New Zealand and Australia following the death of Scott.
Mick Jagger said the he failed "to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way". He also added that they spent many wonderful years together as a couple.

On Wednesday, other Rolling Stones members also expressed their awe after hearing the news of Scott’s death. Tributes for the late L’Wren Scott have poured from fans including Vogue editor Anna Wintour, singer Madonna and supermodel Naomi Campbell.

Scott texted her assistant 90 minutes earlier asking her to come by with no specific reason. To her surprise, the assistant found a cold dead body hanging of Ms. Scott when she arrived. Later, it emerged that a possible reason why Scott took her own life because her self-founded fashion label was in great debt.
