Dexter, primetime’s favorite serial killer, has only been away for six months. However, fans have been clamoring for more shows prompting questions on whether Michael C. Hall, the man behind the serial killing, would reprise the part.
On Tuesday, Hall appeared on TODAY and addressed the recent report regarding the rumored come back. Hall told Savannah Guthrie on TODAY, "It's something that I can't even begin to wrap my head around at this point."
The mystery on his and the show’s come back remains, reported TODAY. Meanwhile, Showtime president David Nevins said that they would wrap their heads on having a reprise provider Hall still has to be on board Dexter.
Hall left his role on Dexter following his new Broadway role in the production of The Realistic Joneses, to open on April 6. The actor said, "(It's) good to get out of the death business. You know, when you make an open-ended commitment to a character for a long period of time, it's nice if there's a lot of complexity and opportunity for evolution. But, yeah, it's nice to do something that is perhaps a bit lighter, and it's really great to get that feedback from the audience every night."
