Sunderland is set to battle West Ham on Monday, March 31. According to a game preview from SportsMole, Sunderland has to bring on a good game plan if the team wants to keep their status for another season in the Premier League.
The Black Cats are currently sitting second on the bottom of the league. Swansea City has been the only team picking up positive points from their last six outings. However, the Black Cats’ defeat left a positive light after a 2-1 game with Liverpool.
Meanwhile, West Ham has been looking to add more misery to the Black Cats during a game on Monday night at Wearside. A total of 20 wins was bagged by Sunderland in the last 41 home matches with West Ham United. The visitors have collected their full points in the last 13 occassions.
According to SkySports, Paul Merson predicted a game ending 2-1 in favor of West Ham. Merson also predicted that West Ham’s midweek win would give another dilemma for Sunderland. Further he said that Sunderland needs to go for a good play or risk being adrift for a game against the Cardiff at the end of April.
