The Los Angeles Kings are getting closer to having the team locked to a sure postseason spot. This was after a big win during their last game, reported ESPN. On Monday, the Kings are set to play against the Minnesota Wild.

The Wild have led the wild-card but are currently in struggle to maintain their position. Minnesota has gotten two points in their last game.

The game between the Kings and the Wild are sure to be an exciting one after the two teams would go toe to toe. On Saturday, the Kings scored 4-2 against Winnipeg making them take home the victory. Willie Mitchell and Marian Gaborik had two assists each while Anze Kopitar had scored two times. The game was finished with Jonathan Quick having 24 saves. This gave him an average 1.67 goals over his 13 last stats.

Meanwhile, the Wild has advanced ahead of the Coyotes in the wild-card standings in the Western Conference.
