The Walking Dead Season 4 finale sets new record high for largest number of viewers

The Walking Dead set a new record high for having the largest number of viewers for the last episode of a TV series in the US. This was according to a report from Variety which added The Walking Dead has listed 15.7 million viewers on Sunday. The Walking Dead Season Four finale “A” attracted viewers between ages 18 and 49.

The data was disclosed by Nielsen which added The Walking Dead’s last episode ranked above other shows around the US during its airing on Sunday. Meanwhile, the last season finale for The Walking Dead in 2013 has caught 12.4 million fans glued on their TV sets, reported BBC.

The new data for the TV thriller’s season ender has surpassed its own record by 24%. The Walking Dead Season Four final episode averaged 13.3 million live viewers per new episode aired.

In the UK, the season ender of the series was shown Monday on FX.
