Bryan Gahol, an ex-member of the Philippine Basketball Association, died in a car accident. This was according to a Yahoo News report saying the accident happened Monday late night in Alabang. The 36 year old former PBA star was among those who died in South Luzon Expressway during a multiple vehicular accident.
Gahol and four other people were riding a Nissan Urvan when the accident occurred. Another female passenger also died along with Gahol while the other three incurred minor injuries. A jeepney hit Gahol’s vehicle which caused it to capsize. The driver of the jeep said that he lost control after his vehicle was hit by a truck.
The former PBA star was also a team player in Liceo de Los Banos during his high school days. He also played along with his team during the FIBA-Asia Under-18 Championship in 1995. Gahol was selected to play in the Philippine Basketball Association during the 1999 PBA draft.
