Captain America: The Winter Soldier has been a top grossing film after its weekend release. The movie has already bagged USD96.2 million, reported Forbes. The film has set a new record high for April. Captain America: The Winter Soldier’s earnings have surpassed the first Captain America movie released last 2011. The new movie was up by 47 percent higher than the previous Captain America film and was even 13 percent than Thor: The Dark World which was released last November.
The figures showed how good the movie was prompting fans’ excitement for the Captain America 3. Twitter followers have campaigned hashtag #CaptainAmerica3 after the weekend success of the movie’s domestic premiere.
Marvel announced on its website that Captain America 3 will hit the big screens. This was after the record topping premiere of the latest installment of the Captain America adaptation. The next movie was announced to be released on May 6, 2016, two years after Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
