Costa Harbilas joined the company as senior vice president of global sales and will lead the direct, channel and technical sales teams around the globe. Prior to Predixion, Costa had a very successful career at HP Software where he held a number of senior leadership roles including VP of U.S. West Sales, COO of the Americas and VP of Sales, U.S. Commercial Accounts. Before HP Software, he held sales leadership roles at Extensity, CA & Cognos. Terri Avnaim serves as Predixion's new vice president of marketing. Previously she held marketing leadership positions at Quest Software, where she was part of the leadership team that grew the company from $70M to $850M in revenue. Avnaim helped Quest from its initial public offering through its eventual acquisition by Dell in 2012. In her new role, she will drive the company's brand strategy, product marketing, demand generation and corporate communications efforts.
These two key executive appointments come at a time when Predixion is seeing positive growth and increased demand in the market. In the last 12 months the company has doubled its employee count. Predixion continued its positive momentum in the first half of 2014, reporting record revenue in the first quarter alone. The growth and success comes on the heels of a $21 million Series C investment from GE Ventures and Accenture in 2013.
