Actor Alec Baldwin Arrested and Pissed: Police Issue 2 Summons to Court

By

Actor Alec Baldwin arrested Tuesday for going the wrong way on his bike on the streets of New York, but ends up with two summons.

Police stopped Baldwin and asked him for identification, where Baldwin became frusterated with officers.

Deputy Chief Kim Y Royster fills us in: "Police stated that he got belligerent and started arguing with them and using profanity."

A law enforcement official reported Baldwin hollering "Give me the summons already."

The first summon issued is for riding against the flow of traffic, where the second summon issue is for disorderly conduct. Baldwin is scheduled to appear in court July 24.

Once the actor was released he immediately hit to Twitter, tweeting: "photographers outside my home ONCE AGAIN terrified my daughter and nearly hit her with a camera. The police did nothing."

He posted the badge number of the officer who arrested him and continued his outcry: "New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign."

He was stopped on fifth avenue and 16th street and escorted to a nearby precinct where he was puzzled why the officers didn't recognize him:

"How old are these officers, that they don't know who I am?" according to a law enforcement official said about him asking a supervisor.
