Google's Android 4.4.3 has been keeping the market abuzz. The update is expected to drop this May but it remains missing in action. Fortunately, it appears Google will not abandon the idea as the Android 4.4.3 update has been spotted several times: on Samsung's developer website and Moto E's teaser video. What will the new Android OS deliver to the table?
Previously, it was reported that Google plans on rolling out the update first to its Nexus line specifically the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and 72 including the Nexus 10. Following update of these devices, Google Play Edition units will receive the update. Although it was emphasized before that Android 4.4.3 will address bugs and other problems in Android devices, it has not made rounds among Android products. Google has also not released any information about the official release of the firmware.
Fortunately, two additional sightings support claims that Google does intend to carry out the software. Google's previous partner, Motorola, released a 40-second footage featuring its Moto E device running on Android 4.4.3. According to a report by Modern Readers, while the video only mentioned the software in passing, it does give a hint about where Google is already regarding the update.
The report also noted that the teaser video mentioned the firmware as a current edition of Google's Android 4.4. KitKat. A tip from @LlabTooFeR also indicated that Google will soon release the update. Additionally, Samsung's developer website mentioned the Android 4.4.3 update. The website discussed how to solve ConsumerIrManager issues for devices that operate with older Android operating systems than Android 4.4.3. This should also indicate that release is just around the corner.
If the company does not release the update this month, analysts expect Google to provide more information during the I/O Conference this June. The internet giant will also reportedly announce another Android software, .4.5 or 5.0 Lollipop.
