Katy Perry will be featured in the July cover of Cosmopolitan magazine and has been named the first-ever global cover star. In the interview, the 29-year old singer talks about her exes Russell Brand and John Mayer.
Being the global cover star means that Perry will appear on the cover of all July editions of Cosmo magazines all over the world.

In an interview with Chelsea Handler for the magazine, Perry said that she carries many rose quartz "which attracts men," but says that she is ready to take a break from dating. "Maybe I need to calm it down with the amethyst," she added.
The star stated she might write songs about her relationship with singer-songwriter John Mayer. In history, Perry and Mayer's relationship had a bunch of ups and downs--breakups and makeups.
"There's no bad blood," she told the magazine. "But I'm sure there will be inspired songs."
In response to Perry's statement, Mayer said: "That's what you're supposed to do, man. You're supposed to write songs. You're just not supposed to tell everybody you're doing it...I actually want everybody's song to go to number one. I purposely stopped writing hits to give other people a chance to have number one songs."
On Russell Brand, Katy admitted that she has moved on since they broke up. She said that their relationship--including their 14-month marriage (the divorce was made official in 2012)--was "lifetimes" ago.
"It feels like a hundred lifetimes ago, so it's like digging up an old grave. A lot of therapy has happened and a lot of understanding and growth," Perry told TooFab.
"Sometimes you have to go through all this s--t to get your grips on life and figure out what the next boundaries in your love life are going to be," she continues. "You have to go through the mud in order to find that peaceful place. In the long run, it was necessary for me to have more of a teammate."
