"I was young then" — Bieber's racial videos spread like wildfire on internet

Justin Bieber is once again in the midst of another controversy.

The Canadian singer-performer has recently made headlines after videos of his 14-year-old self saying racist comments circulated online.

Bieber on the said video was singing his internationally successful "One Less Lonely Girl," but changing the word "girl" to an "N-word."

According to TMZ, Bieber was 14 years old then and made a recording after he saw a comedian parodying on his song.

In the video, he sings: "There'll be one less lonely n*****" and adds "If I kill you, I'll be part of the KKK."

Sources from the internet reported that the teenage Bieber was isolated by his mentor, Usher, on a room and let him watch several racist videos before letting him realize how hurtful the words were.

Actor Will Smith commented on Justin's video years ago and he said that JB realized his fault and apologized thereafter.

Now at the age of 20, Justin said that he wants to take responsibility of his past actions.

Several days after Bieber's racial video trended, another emerged. The video was posted by TMZ.

In that video, 15-year old Bieber asks, "Why are black people afraid of chain saws?" before answering his own question with the statement "Run n*****, n*****, n*****, n*****," imitating the sound of a chain saw.

Bieber has apologized for his actions a few days ago saying:

"As a kid, I didn't understand the power of certain words and how they can hurt. I thought it was ok to repeat hurtful words and jokes, but didn't realize at the time that it wasn't funny and that in fact my actions were continuing the ignorance."

He added: "I'm very sorry. I take my friendships with people of all cultures very seriously and I apologize for offending or hurting anyone with my childish and inexcusable mistake. I was a kid then and I am a man now who knows my responsibility to the world and to not make that mistake again."

Several extortion attempts were reportedly made by people who asked for money--allegedly up to $1,000,000--in order to keep the video in the closet.
