NCIS Season 12 to air this fall

By

Hit crime TV series NCIS will be back on air this fall for its 12th season.

Some of the expected highlights for this season includes the possible return of Cote de Pablo's Ziva David character, and well as Tim McGee (Sean Murray) and Delilah Fielding's (Margo Harshman) romantic love story.

"A lot of people have approached me about the idea of not shutting the door entirely on [their staying in touch], and I'm not opposed to it ... It has to be done in a way where it feels organic to the storytelling and we're not just throwing in lines about Ziva here and there," said executive producer Gary Glasberg in an interview with Inquistr.

"The greatest thing about this last episode is that Ziva doesn't die," Cote de Pablo told the press. "As long as a character doesn't die, the character can always come back. Not that it would actually matter, because we bring back characters from the dead all the time on NCIS," she added.

Characters Tim and Delilah made an impact on the viewers on the past season after the accident that happened on the gala event. Many questions are being been raised whether they'll continue the romance.

The past season showed the dedication of the couple to strengthen their relationship. The decision of Delilah to accept a job opportunity in Dubai urged immense commitment for each other despite the long distance relationship.

According to some reports, many people were requesting of the resurgence of Ziva. What's in store will always be a shocker, according to Glasberg. "But it has to be done in a way where it feels organic to the storytelling and we're not just throwing in lines about Ziva here and there," he explained.

"If Tony's in a personal relationship or there's something significant happening for him and he wondered how she would respond, then maybe we can figure out a way to do it. It's a valid issue to bring up," added Glasberg.
