Hollywood Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have reportedly ended their two-year relationship.
According to reports, Gosling might have dumped his "Place Beyond the Pines" co-star for Christina Hendricks, star of TV series "Mad Men" and currently the star of "Lost River," a film that he directed.
Rumors of the split started surfacing months ago, but the couple--who have always kept their relationship very low key--have kept mum on the issue.
In May this year, despite the break-up rumors, Gosling was photographed wearing a necklace with the name "Hugo," which is the nickname of Mendes's dog.
A report said that the couple, who have been together since September 2011--after Gosling's two-year relationship with his "The Notebook" co-star Rachel McAdams--have not been photographed together since November 2013.
Mendes, who was also part of "Lost River," was not present during the premiere in Cannes 2014. It was Hendricks who walked with Gosling on the red carpet.
Sources say that it's unlikely that Gosling and Hendricks are together, as the "Mad Men" star is married to actor Geoffrey Arend.
Some reports also say that there is a possibility that Gosling and Mendes are secretly engaged. According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, it's possible that they're still very much together, but being really secretive of their relationship.
The report added: "If the duo are engaged, then they'll probably attempt to keep it a secret for as long as humanly possible. Both of them are notorious for hating the press attention, and even with Ryan having to promote his new movie...he'll be amenable to opening up about his personal life all that much."
