"For Callie, now it's really about the adoption and how can we get this happening, especially now that Jude's been adopted. She really sees the effect that it has on Jude, knowing that he's been adopted and she hasn't. That's really where her head's at. She's not so interested in knowing who this Robert Quinn person is," Maia Mitchell said on TV Line's interview.
Callie is adopted by Stef and Lena. She is the main reason for us to watch this season. How will her love with Brandon go? How will she manage to untangle the dilemmas to be with Brandon consequently sharing the same legal parents?
How will the new season flow after the dramatic finale of Season 1?
Going back, Brandon bribed Ana so his dad won't be imprisoned. Brandon's mom, Stef, was on the rescue and ordered her son to shut his mouth and she told Ana she'll find $10,000.
"Brandon, it's me dad. I love you. And I feel like I'm failing you as a dad. You're a good son and I'm sorry," a voicemail from Mike. Meanwhile, it was an awkward situation after Brandon slept with his father's girlfriend.
"Callie really isn't wanting to know much about Robert [Kerr Smith is expected to portray]. In her mind, it's literally a sperm donor and that's it. ... But as she learns more about him, she realizes that it really wasn't his choice. He didn't abandon her. You see her very, very slowly soften and kind of warm to him, but I don't think she really wants a father-daughter relationship at any point," Callie said on an interview with TV Line.
