Seleção Brasileira's manager Luiz Felipe Scolari exhorts his team to be vigilant and attentive on Mexico's possible plans of attack. He said on the reports from Sky Sports, "Every time we play against Mexico we have difficulties." The coach remained competitive on his words, "That is why it is a game the players know will be very even, they need to have very good conditioning from the beginning until the end."
"That's why we will insist on all the necessary training, on the necessary respect towards Mexico. But we know a victory will put us in a highly comfortable position for the next round, so we'll play with that in mind."
Mexican striker Oribe Peralta was top-scorer last week against Cameroon. The 30-year old striker was the only player scored last Friday; scoring on the 61st minute. On the other hand, the team's coach Miguel Herrera has posed a challenge to one of the best performers of the tournament - Oscar (Brazil).
Oscar said on Sky Sports, "In the World Cup there is an extra desire to win and I hope we can do so again this time.
"Mexico is a very different side to Croatia. They play the ball out from the back well and are very good on the counter-attack."
From the report of Daily Mail, Seleção Brasileira has faced Mexico three times in the World Cup; Brazil winning all matches with 11 points combined. The host country has won the same matchup back in Brazil on 1950.
Meanwhile, Mexico only won once against Brazil on the Land of Jogo Bonito on October 31, 1968 with a score of 2-1.
Mexico's central defender Rafael Marquez said, "Against Brazil, it will surely be a very difficult game. We know the talent of Neymar, Oscar, and Hulk but we will train in ways to handle them."
