"Book Three: Change," the third season of Nickelodeon animated TV series "The Legend of Korra" will most likely be given a release date in July.
Post-production was finished earlier this month, but no official release date has been announced. Some reports say that it could be released later this month.
Nickelodeon, however, is expected to promote Book 3 at the Comic Con 2014, which will happen this coming July.
"Can't believe we've finished an entire season's worth of shows. We're so proud of everyone who worked so hard to make Book 3 the best season of Korra yet! I know you are all excited to watch - believe me, we're excited to share it with you! I wish I could say I had some news about Korra's release date, but I'm sorry to say I don't." said co-creator Michael Dante DiMartino.
A trailer has been released after some episodes from Book 3 were leaked online--it was accidentally published on MundoNick, Nickelodeon's Mexican affiliate. Because of this, the creators released a trailer earlier than expected.
Co-creator Bryan Koneitzko said: "Thanks to the shenanigans of Leaky McLeakerpants, we have released the *OFFICIAL* Book 3 trailer early ... Hope you enjoy!"
According to DiMartino, the upcoming season will concentrate on Korra dealing with the change of the world: "At the end of Book 2 she says it's a new era. And it really is and we're going to show how Harmonic Convergence and her battle with Unalaq and Vaatu kind of shifted the world a bit."
Meanwhile, it has been announced that "Legend of Korra Book 2: Spirits" will be released on DVD and Blu Ray on July 1, 2014 in the United States, and August 5 in Canada.
