Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva" is down to its final episode--entitled "It Had to Be You," on June 22. Here's a taste of what's in store. Warning: spoilers ahead.
In the previous episode "Hero," Kim and Owen did not support Jane's new romance. Jane, Meanwhile, represents a mom whose son died at football training, after collapsing during a summer practice.
Kim, meanwhile, is saved from a mugging by a man dressed in a superhero costume--it was later revealed that it was a bailiff she knows well. She then repays the favor by defending him when the mugger sues for assault.
Here's what to expect in the the finale, according to TV.com: "Owen and Kim will try to talk some sense into Jane about her relationship with Ian."
Teri also realizes that Ian, a former classmate, was the reason why her chances to be a star was sabotaged. Kim, meanwhile, represents her former teem after being fired by the agency.
This will most likely be the Lifetime dramedy's final season. In an interview earlier this year, creator Josh Berman said that he hasn't really fully accepted that the show will end, but if it does, there's a chance that it will be brought back. He told The Wrap: "We've been canceled before, but with our fan base and already seeing the petitions online and the movement to bring it back, I think anything is potentially possible."
Berman added: "That being said I am definitely writing a final season, which is a real pleasure to write because it's a luxury as a showrunner to get advanced notice. So, I'm definitely moving plot and story along in a way, but anything's possible. I mean look at 'The Killing,' which was brought back to life twice, I mean we've only been brought back to life once."
The sixth season's final episode of "Drop Dead Diva" will air at 9pm on June 22, 2014 (Sunday) on Lifetime.
