Rumors have been going around since May this year that "The Vampire Diaries" co-stars Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev are dating once again, but keeping the relationship low-key this time.
Somerhalder and Dobrev dated from September 2011 to May 2013. They met on the set of the hit TV show and instantly hit it off. They were inseparable, proudly flaunting their relationship on social media and public events.
They still continued with the hit show after they broke up, and even expressed that they still support each other.
A Hollywood Life article dated May 16, 2014 said that the couple are once again dating, but this time, they're not exactly flaunting it.
A number of guys have been linked to Dobrev ever since she and Somerhalder broke up. There's 36-year-old Muse drummer Dominic Howard--the two were spotted making in a party in Monaco.
An insider told Moviepilot.com that Somerhalder is jealous of Nina's rumored new beau: "Ian is Jealous of Nina's new boyfriend, but there's unfortunately not much he can do about. It's her life and her choice, and she's made it very clear to Ian that she's not interested in settling down."
Other men who have been briefly linked with Dobrev include dancer/choreographer Derek Hough, "The Hunger Games" actors Liam Hemsworth and Alexander Ludwig, and TVD co-star Michael Trevino.
Insiders say, however, that Dobrev and Somerhalder have not really officially broken up, so a chance chance of getting back together is not impossible.
A report by Celebrity Dirty Laundry says: "A few random hook ups here and there have lead to Nina and Ian reuniting and this time around they are keeping it as private as possible. They both had to be in Monaco for The World Music Awards this week and used the opportunity to spend quality time together."
"Sources tell us that a real engagement may be in the works but that if it happens don't expect either Ian or Nina to confirm it - at least not right away," the report added.
What do you think? Is Dobrev moving on with a new beau, or should the TVD love be rekindled in real life?
