Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley are clearly two of the biggest on-screen couples in Hollywood today, and it seems like the "The Fault in Our Stars" (TFIOS) actor still cannot stop talking about his beautiful and talented co-star.
About two weeks ago. Elgort posted a photo of him and Woodley on his instagram, captioned: "You don't get to choose if you get hurt in this world, but you do have a say in who hurts you"--a famous line from TFIOS.
The two played brother and sister in "Divergent," which was filmed before TFIOS.
"It was actually helpful that we got to know each other on Divergent, so it wasn't a problem," 20-year-old Elgort told reporters.
Elgort added: "This relationship between Gus and Hazel, it's so important that it's authentic and real and they do feel like they are real friends and they have that chemistry ... You should root for them to be together and have this love, and if, in real life these two people don't have any connection, it's just two actors going through the motions and being very boring."
TFIOS, which is based on a novel by John Green, was such a hit that fans now want nothing more than to see the two get together in real life. There have even been rumors that the two are in a relationship, but this was not confirmed, and Elgort is reportedly dating his high school sweetheart, dancer Violetta Komyshan.
In an interview with The Guardian, Elgort said that he and Woodley share a certain kind of love--"but in a friendship love."
Elgort and Woodley will be returning in the big screen for "Insurgent," which will be released on March next year.
