Dwayne Johnson had an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on June 18. He spoke about the filming process of "Fast and Furious 7" and how did they cope with the loss of Paul Walker, who was found dead due to a car incident last year.
"I was driving with Lauren when she immediately turned very quiet and was looking at me, studying, wondering if I knew," he said according to Enstarz.
"I pulled over and looked at my messages and had a moment where I just caught my breath."
According to the same site, they had prayed for Paul's daughter Meadow so she may acquire the strength she needs to move on from the tragedy.
"We said a prayer right then to give his daughter strength - because we had talked about our daughters," Dwayne Johnson said.
"That's what we would talk about. Both of us were divorced, and we talked about the power of being a dad and the strong connection of a dad and his girl. Then once we got home, we started bawling."
"He was a beautiful man, and in that crazy world, that's really something," he said as the actor becomes more emotional.
Moreover, he revealed that he only had one day of shooting left. But Walker didn't make it as he left beforehand. "I had one day of shooting left, and we still have one day left, which we'll shoot in a month or two."
Reportedly, the upcoming seventh installment of "Fast and Furious" had undergone series of changes. They changed some of their plot, rewrote scripts, and they were forced to delay the release.
On an article of International Business Times, Kurt Russell is said to play as a father figure to Walker's character Brian O'Connor. It is also stated that Russell is more likely as Vin Diesel's character.
Moreover, the film begins with the continuation of "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift"; Owen's older brother Ian seeks for Dominic Toretto to accomplish vendetta for the death of his brother from the past film.
"Fast and Furious 7" will be released on April 10, 2015 in United States.
